Description

This 1-day Emergency First Aid at Work course is the most basic, accredited First Aid course we offer at Siren Training. This course helps you meet the requirements set out in the Health and Safety regulations of 1981.

This 6-hour course is a great introduction to First Aid training. Learners will leave with the confidence to deal with emergency life-threatening situations in a competent way. Our instructors are experts from the Emergency Services who have ‘been there and done it for real’.

What will I be learning on this First Aid Course?

The 1 day Emergency First Aid at Work course covers the following subjects:

  • Role of a First Aider
  • Priorities of First Aid
  • Managing an Incident
  • Causes and care of the unconscious casualty
  • Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
  • Bleeding and Shock
  • Choking
  • Burns and Scalds
  • Anaphylaxis
  • Manage the Transportation of a Casualty
  • Record Keeping & Accident Reporting
  • Practical demonstration and use of an AED

This course is only available to employees of member businesses belonging to The Fitzrovia Partnership.

To those employees, this course is free, however, The Fitzrovia Partnership reserves the right to charge for late cancellations (less than 48 hours notice) or no-shows.
